Made using the Lost Wax Method, the Falcon statue is composed of a copper and tin mixture, which protects the piece from rust. The beautiful marble base features a plate with the name of the artist and the statue engraved on it.
The original artist who sculpted this design was Jules Moigniez, born in Senlis, France in 1835. Before the end of his life in 1894, he had made many stunning sculptures of birds, dogs, and horses. His love for these creatures is reflected in the fine detail and emotion, which is embodied in his sculptures.
